Sonavé Integrative Pain Clinic.
Clinical Practice
Jessa is cofounder of Sonavé, an integrative pain clinic in Lehi, Utah where somatic practitioners work alongside medical providers and bodyworkers in a coordinated model of care. The clinic was built around the conviction that chronic pain and complex trauma respond best when the nervous system, the body, and the mind are treated as a single integrated system.
Sonavé reflects the working principle that guides Jessa's broader practice: somatic care is most effective when it sits inside, not adjacent to, clinical treatment.
Lived Experience
The Path to This Work
Jessa came to this work through her own recovery from complex developmental trauma, high-control religion, and sexual assault – experiences that inform both her clinical sensibility and her conviction that healing requires the body, not only the mind.

She found yoga and meditation in her early twenties, in the middle of a long and disorienting period of chronic pain, chronic fatigue, obsessive compulsive disorder, and panic. The practices kept her steady long enough to eventually find a trauma specialist in her thirties who helped her name what she had been carrying.
From that point forward she has been committed to the holistic, integrative care she now offers others, and to making sure survivors are met by practitioners who understand the body as a partner in healing rather than an obstacle to it.
